"Scotti uses Mapex ProM drums with maple shells that are internally miked using the May miking system.
He uses Sennheiser tom mikes,
AKG bass drum mikes,
a Shure mike in the snare drum and overheads.
He also has an AKG C1000S microphone on his hi-hat.
There is a Shure Beta 58 for his vocal mike.
His drumset consists of (2) 22" bass drums with DW bass drum pedals,
10", 12", 14", & 16" mounted toms with an 18" floor tom.
His snare drum is a 14"x 8" Noble & Cooley wooden snare.
His drums and cymbals are mounted on a Gibralter rack with integral hardware.
His cymbals are all Zildjian and include 8" and 10" splashes, 14" hi-hats, 16", 17" and (2) 18" crashes, (2) 18" China cymbals and a 22" ride cymbal.
Scotti uses Promark 747 Neil Peart signature series drumsticks when he can find them, otherwise he buys whatever is on sale, typically a light 5A or 7A stick."
